Return Policy

 

Thank you for choosing Carter Creations! Please review our return policy carefully before completing your purchase:

1. Store Credit Only

  • Carter Creations issues store credit only for returns, which must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery.

  • All sales are non-refundable—no exceptions. Only store credit will be provided.

  • To initiate a return, email hello@cartercreationss.com within the 7-day return period. This is the only email that should be used for returns. Failure to email this address within the specified timeframe may result in your return request not being processed.

  • If your email is sent within the required timeframe, your return request will still be valid even if our response to you arrives on the 8th or 9th day after delivery.

  • Once return instructions are provided, you will have 7 days from the date we confirm your return to ship the item back.

  • Items sent back after this return period will not be eligible for store credit. Customers will have 48 hours from the time they are notified that their return is ineligible to pay for a shipping fee to have the item sent back or forfeit the item entirely. Carter Creations will not cover return shipping fees or send items back without payment.

2. Exclusions

  • Shipping fees, taxes, and discounts are excluded from store credit. Store credit is issued for the merchandise amount only.

  • Clearance items are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for returns or exchanges under any circumstances.

3. Condition of Returned Items

  • All items must be returned in their original condition (unless the item was delivered with a defect) and in original packaging within the 7-day return period.

  • Items showing signs of wear, tear, scents, or damage will result in the return being denied. Customers are responsible for any shipping costs required to retrieve these items.

4. Customer Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for returning merchandise to Carter Creations for store credit.

  • Customers are also responsible for paying the shipping fee for their replacement item when exchanging items.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where defective items are returned.

5. Late Returns

  • Items returned after the 7-day period from the date of delivery will not be accepted.

  • No store credit or refunds will be issued for late returns—no exceptions.

  • You will also be responsible for shipping to get those items back. If you do not pay for shipping for your items within 48hours of notification items will be dispose.

6. Processing Time

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for your return to be processed once it has been received.

  • Replacement items will not be shipped until the returned items are received and any applicable shipping fees for the new item are paid.

  • If shipping instructions are not followed, such as mailing items to an address not provided, additional fees may apply. This could also result in delays or the potential loss of your returned items.

  • To initiate a return, email: hello@cartercreationss.com within the specified return window. This is the only email address to be used for all return-related inquiries.

  • Upon receiving the returned items, Carter Creations will contact you via email with final confirmation of your store credit for the next steps.

*Please note that the following items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable:

  • Headwear: This includes hats, shower caps, bonnets, and headbands.

  • Jewelry

  • Drinkware

  • Custom items

  • Clearance items

Due to the nature of these products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for them.

Shipping Policy:

1. Order Processing

  • Please allow 5-7 business days for order processing before shipment.

2. Address Changes

  • Changes to shipping addresses or other details cannot be made once an order is placed. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout.

3. Tracking Information

  • Use your shipping confirmation email to track your order.

  • If you do not receive a shipping update within 7 days of receiving your confirmation email, please contact us for assistance.

4. Shipping Delays

  • During the holiday season, carrier delays (e.g., USPS or UPS) may occur. These delays are beyond our control, and Carter Creations is not responsible for shipping delays once orders are in transit.

  • Additionally, during the holiday and crossing season, order processing and delivery times may take longer than usual due to high demand.
